Astrid is a super sweet and mellow 8 year-old small lab mix.
She's tan with white markings and weighs 30 lbs.
This pretty girl is sweet and good with people, including children.
She is slightly shy at first, but super loving and affectionate once she gets comfortable. She loves to snuggle and get belly rubs.
She is laid-back but not lazy. She likes to go for walks and explore outside.
She is fully house-trained, crate-trained, walks well on a leash and is very smart and eager to please.
Astrid is perfectly healthy. She had completely normal bloodwork and she is heartworm and fecal parasite negative. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and just had a dental cleaning.
She doesn't particularly like other dogs, but she is not actively aggressive and she will accept another dog if they leave her alone.
She is calm when greeting cats and would be fine in a house with kitties.
This girl is a gem and will be a wonderful addition to a lucky family.

About Kayser Animal Rescue Effort (KARE)

About Our Rescue Group...

We find highly adoptable dogs and we use a transporter to deliver them to areas that are not overcrowded. We use Rescue Road Trips to deliver them to VA,PA, MD, CT, NJ, NY, VT, and MA. The dogs we have are temperament tested and fully vetted by a veterinarian.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are in Lytle, Texas but we will put you in touch with the dog's foster mom and/or Dr. Lowe to talk about temperament and health. We will help arrange all the details of transport to one of the areas the transporter delivers our dogs to.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is $200, the transport fee on Rescue Road Trips is $185, and all dogs are fully vaccinated, altered, microchipped and come with a valid Health Certificate. Dr. Lowe sees over all their medical requirements and that they are all met.
