Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sweet Maggie Mae! She is up for adoption in Texas.
Maggie was rescued from a high kill shelter by Lucky Lab Rescue at the eleventh hour. She is approximately 4 years old and is on the small medium size weighing in at 40 lbs.
Maggie can be quiet and shy when she first meets people but quickly opens up and loves nothing more than to snuggle and just be with her people. Maggie is up for playing with the right pup (she lives with 4 other dogs) but would also be content to be the only dog and a couch potato.
Maggie is not a fan of the leash but has no interest in wandering. She would do best in a house with older kids, a mature couple or even a single person.
Maggie loves a comfy bed or sofa to sleep on. While Maggie would be alright with a crate, as she has beautiful house manners, she finds it unnecessary. She is house trained too!
Maggie does know “sit” and is very motivated by treats so could definitely be motivated to learn more.
Maggie is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped and ready to begin the next chapter of her life in her forever home.
