found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
We are not too sure what she is mixed with, but we are thinking maybe a Chow Chow, because of how incredibly fluffy he is.
Tonk was brought to a shelter with his 4 brothers and sisters. They were all in pretty good health, but the woman who brought them in still asked for them to be euthanized because they were an "accidental litter" and she did not want the responsibility of taking care of them. Our rescue couldn't let these sweet babies lose their lives at such a young age so we took them into our rescue. They were only 9 weeks old when they were dropped off, but now they are 11 weeks old and ready to find their forever homes.
Tonk is sweet and snuggly, but also playful. He does have some puppy energy at times and loves to rough house with his siblings and the fosters bigger dog. He is also good at relaxing. Tonk is more outgoing and loves human attention. He takes care of his sister Tassie. He starts out more adventurous than Tassie, but he waits for her when trying new things. He loves to snuggle with his sister and puts up with Tassie's licks and kisses. With the continued socialization he will be the most perfect, loving, affectionate dog. Once it's nap time Tonk loves nothing more than to snuggle up close with his siblings in their bed, or with his foster mom on the couch. The foster mom says he is the cutest little thing with his fluffy little butt and happy personality. He will always bring a smile to your face. Tonk will be such a great size for a hiking companion in the beautiful CO mountains. We do believe that Tonk would be great for most types of families. He would do great with another dog to play and socialize with or with gentle, loving kids. He would also be great for an active individual or couple who want a hiking/running/walking dog.
