This is Sassy, a petite Shih Tzu mix. She is eleven pounds of sweetness and is three and a half years old. Sassy was turned into rescue because her family could no longer care for her. She is healthy, has a good appetite, likes to go for walks, is housetrained, and loves to sleep with her foster mom and foster doggie sibling. She is a friendly girl who just wants to give love and receive love from her special human(s). If you are looking for unconditional devotion in an affectionate companion, then Sassy is for you.
Sassy’s foster mom would prefer to adopt her to a home where someone is home during the day, or at least part of the day, or can come home midday. She would also like her adopter to live within 60 miles of the Twin Cities area. Her adopter is also encouraged to attend the annual Shih Tzu rescue reunion held every September.
Sassy is healthy, spayed, up to date with vaccinations, is on heartworm preventive and flea and tick preventive, and has been microchipped. Her adoption fee is $320 + $23.28 Minnesota sales tax.

Or you can also see her and the other dogs available for adoption from Shih Tzu Rescue of Minnesota by visiting with us from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Minnetonka Petco near Ridgedale on December 3rd or the last Saturday of every month in 2017.
