ButterCup's Story...
If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Buttercup is a super sweet 7 month old puppy- and she definitely acts like a pup. Expect her to have loads of energy which makes for some very funny videos! She should be in a home with other dogs so she can release all this energy and she needs lots of toys to keep her from chewing things in your home you don't want her to. She is 10 pounds and walks well on a leash but would love to have a yard to run circles in and chase squirrels. Buttercup should be just fine with kids so long as they treat her properly. She is being crate trained and we are working on having her completely house trained; right now she is 80% there. She will make the perfect buddy for anyone who has a lot of time and patience to put into raising this darling little girl.

***** Please note that not every dog comes to every adoption day, so if you would like to meet a specific dog on adoption day, please contact us so we can make arrangements accordingly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ButterCup, a Kingwood Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
