Hercules's Story...
Hi my name is Hercules, whats yours? I found myself in two very scary situations before I was finally rescued.First i was living in a hotel and then got kicked out because the manager found me. Some lady came and picked me up but once she realized I was sick she wouldn't keep me. Yet somehow I got into st francis and I'm SO thankful for that. Now Im all healthy and ready for my forever family. I am such a love muffin, foster mama calls me that when I purr and knead on her. I really love to play so I definitely would be happiest if there was another kitty at home needing a playmate. Love and purrs, Hercules

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hercules, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
