Cayenne's Story...
Hi my name is Cayenne! When I was a little baby a lady took me and my siblings away from our mom and tried to turn us into the high kill shelter 2 minutes before they closed! Luckily a worker there knew my foster mama and texted her for help. Since then we've been growing big and strong in foster care so we could find forever families. We are some of the sweetest kittens foster mama has ever had! We all come running to her purring and wanting to be held! Of course we all love to play too! I am hoping my forever family might be interested in adopting one of my siblings with me! If not hopefully you have another kitty at home who needs a playmate. Hope to meet you soon! Love and purrs, Cayenne

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cayenne, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
