Geneva's Story...
Hi! My name's Geneva! My siblings and I were brought to the county shelter and were there for 10 days before we found ourselves on "the list" - and it wasn't a good list. Luckily our foster mommy had met us at the shelter the week before and knew how special we were and that she just had to save us. I guess the shelter environment didn't agree with any of us because we were very skinny when our foster mommy came and got us. We had lost 1/3 of our body weight while waiting for someone to save us. Once we got to our foster home, we became happy, purring, eating machines! And now we are ready for our forever families! i am the shyest of
My litter and would really love to be adopted with one of my braver siblings. I am fine once I know everything is good and I'm ok, but I really do look to my brave sisters and brother to give me ok that I am safe. I do LOVE to play! Hope to meet you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Geneva, a Tampa Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
