Walker is a male Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) and Terrier mix puppy only 10 months old. He has a unique, distinctive look with big expressive ears that are fringed with downy soft fur. Walker has a tricolor coat of copper, white and brown. He has an adorable white tipped tail and white paws. His coat is thick and fluffy, but easy to brush out and maintain. Walker currently weighs 12 pounds and his estimated adult weight should be about 17-20 pounds. Walker is surprisingly mellow for a pup, super sweet and quiet. He likes to be with people but is not overbearing, preferring a calm home with gentle owners. Walker loves to be petted, talked to, and held even though he's not tiny. He is a big baby and loves to snuggle. His affectionate nature is very easy to fall in love with. Walker is still a puppy and so he likes toys and discovering new things. He is kind and gentle in everything he does and will wait to be invited before joining in the fun or getting attention. He can be content with a soft doggie bed and some toys to entertain himself with, but he is a warm cuddler as well. Walker is excellent with other dogs and is more on the submissive side. He likes other gentle canine friends since more boisterous dogs will simply overpower him. He enjoys the company of quieter dogs and will snuggle up or play a little bit too. He rides quietly in the car and walks on leash without pulling. Walker is going to make a lovely, easygoing pet and companion. He was rescued from a high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is one of a kind and has a heart of gold. Walker has been vet checked, is very healthy, and ready for his new future and forever loving home!

Walker’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Walker is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Vicki and Cecil and is ready for his forever home.
