Louise - Yellow Female X, 1 year, 55 lbs.

♫ Girls just wanna have fun, oh yeah girls just wanna have fun ♫

Oh hi there! I am Louise and I am a free-spirited young Labbie mix who just loves to have fun! I love to play, wrestle, chew, cuddle, and have fun fun fun with my people! I still don’t understand how a fun-loving girl good-natured girl like me ended up in the shelter, but somehow my sister Thelma and I found ourselves out in the cold and got picked up by animal control. Luckily for us, the Defenders of Dogs found out about us and saved us from a really sad ending…now I live with an awesome foster family where I get to play all day with my canine foster siblings and cuddle all night with my foster parents – it is a pretty sweet life! My foster mom tells me my life is about to get even better though! She says I am ready to find my forever family – a family to love and cherish and play with for the rest of my life!! Wow – I can’t wait to find them! Could my forever family be with you?

I am a total sweetheart and I am very good at sharing with the resident dogs at my foster home - food, toys, affection – there is more than enough to go around for us all! I am a still a puppy and absolutely love to have fun. I love to play, chew toys, and frolic and run! I am pretty fast too – I would make a great jogging buddy! I do love to dig a hole on occasion (hey, what pup doesn’t?) and wrestle with my doggie friends. I am high energy when I am playing, but when it is time to settle down, I love to cuddle close to my people and take a long puppy nap. I have a thick soft coat (my foster mom thinks I may be mixed with Aussie or Husky) which is perfect for petting and snuggling! I always strive to please and crave approval from my people, which makes me super easy to train. I want nothing more than to be a part of the family, through thick and thin. I promise to always be by your side, with a soft kiss and cuddle, always there to help you celebrate the good times and bring comfort to you during the rough times. I have nice house manners and I am crate-trained and house trained. I am on the small side for a Labbie mix, and will likely not get much bigger.

Louise is a beautiful young girl with a fun-loving and sweet personality. She is still in her puppy stage and loves to play and frolic. She is very well-socialized and loves to play with other dogs and children, though her puppy play may be a little much for very small children. Louise is extremely smart and eager to please and she would love to take training classes with her new family so they can learn together and ensure a lifetime of good behavior. This girl just loves to have fun and is seeking a forever family to share her sunny outlook on life with! Louise’s goofy antics are sure to put a smile on your face and warm your heart!
