TWIX - SWEET AS CANDY!'s Story...
Estimated Date of Birth: 8/29/2016

TWIX is a sweet boy that was rescued from a local shelter with his siblings. He was rescued right before Halloween so his foster mom decided to give the litter candy related names. He's a super sweet kitten that loves to play. TWIX needs to go to a home with another animal (either cat or dog) or be adopted with another kitten. Since he is so small, he cannot go to a home with young children.

For further information please contact us at www.furryfriendsanimalrescue.org/contact-us or call 214-676-2434. Anyone interested in our cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. All our cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations. We do ask for a $140 adoption donation. To fill out an application on line, just go to www.furryfriendsanimalrescue.org and click on the Adoption Application link.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TWIX - SWEET AS CANDY!, a Plano Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plano, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Plano.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plano already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plano breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plano paves the way for another one to be saved.
