DAVIDSON was originally adopted from Furry Friends as a kitten a year and half ago. Unfortunately, due to no fault of his own, he was return to us. Grandma moved in with his family and is allergic to cats, so he came back to his original foster home. Sometimes cats that were adopted out as kittens have a difficult time adjusting to being back in foster care because they aren't used to being around the other animals. Not DAVIDSON. He came in and pretty much owned the place. He was a little freaked at first, but he was getting along with the other cats and large dog in his foster home in no time. He a great boy with the cutest little meow. He was originally named DAVIDSON after Harley-Davidson because of his non-stop purr motor. He still has that great motor. Because he is black, he is going to have a much harder time getting adopted. Unfortunately, black cats are often overlooked for some of the more colorful cats. Please don't overlook this awesome boy. He will make a family very happy.

For further information please contact us at www.furryfriendsanimalrescue.org/contact-us or call 214-676-2434. Anyone interested in our cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. All our cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations. We do ask for a $140 adoption donation. About Furry Friends Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Furry Friends Animal Rescue

We are a new group started in 2013 by a large group of experienced rescuers - we wanted to be part of an ethical rescue group which would allow us to help homeless cats and dogs in the North Texas area. We value all the experience and knowledge brought to this group by the volunteers so the group is member based. We welcome new volunteers and fosters, both experienced or new to rescue. You can contact us by email or through our website - we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Our Adoption Process...

We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis - it is our goal to find the right home for the cat or dog as well ensuring that the cat or dog is the right match for it's new family. A win/win situation.
For dogs, we require an application, home visit for approved application, and home trial period to ensure that it's a good fit for the dog and the family.
For cats, we require an application, but do allow same-day adoptions. Our goal is to find our fosters a "forever" home.
Our Adoption Fees are $140 for cats and $175 for dogs.

All our cats and dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption - this includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, feline leukemia/aids testing, heartworm tests, deworming, spay or neuter, microchips and other medical treatment as required.

You can fill out an Adoption Application online on our website.
