found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Susie and Pebbles were surrendered to ARF with a certain amount of urgency. Though they had spent their lives in one home, it seemed that they were suddenly in the way and in danger. The lady who took them from the home felt that if she didn't get them at that moment, she might not have a chance to save them at all. She said that the dogs are 8 and 9 years old, but a look through their vet records indicate that Pebbles was born in October of 2009 and would be 7 years old and Susie was born in October of 2008 and would be 8 years old. Both dogs are spayed and have had regular check ups with the vet. One of the girls was said to have been attacked by a larger dog some time ago and should be scooped up carefully so as not to hurt her rear. The local vet where the dogs were taken regularly (Town and Country Veterinary Clinic) noted that there had been a dog fight with treatment was at an emergency clinic, but they couldn't confirm even which of the two were involved. Both dogs are friendly and happy little things, even in the strange new place that they find themselves. The more they are exposed to new people and places, the better they do. Pebbles seems to be a little slow to warm up, but they both are fine as soon as they trust a person. They must wonder what happened to their family! We wonder, too, and suspect there may have been drugs and a prison sentence involved. These sweet dogs have a lot of love to give! Update: The girls have been put into foster care and are having a good time. They have relaxed and are playing more and making people laugh at their antics.
