Tyke's Story...
Hello, my name is Tyke. I am a 9-10 months old, very outgoing, happy and good looking puppy. I was one of the many abandoned GRs in Turkey until I was rescued by KR. The dark days are gone, only bright days ahead for me. I am still in Turkey, but will be coming to the U.S. soon and just wait until you see me then….after I take a shower, brush my hair... I can already hear you saying "OH MY"...
As you heard Tyke is USA bound in search of that forever, loving home. Are you ready to open up your heart to him?
Anyone interested in adopting Tyke should visit our website at www.kyrasrescue.com to submit an application for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyke, a Washington Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Washington, or seeking a Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
