Facts about Lorelai, Lovely Tortie

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10826789
  • Hair: Short

Born in a backyard in Staten Island with her three siblings (Billy, George, and Fancy—all available for adoption through Brooklyn Animal Action as well!), Lorelai was well cared for while she was outdoors. But she was clearly so friendly and delightful that it made so much more sense for her and her siblings to be brought inside. So the litter’s caretakers brought them in, and are now working with Brooklyn Animal Action to find every last one their own, perfect forever homes!

Lorelai is a sweet and stunning tortoiseshell kitty with an astonishing and unique coat. She loves petting sessions with her humans and cuddle sessions with her siblings. Because of how affectionate she is with other kitties as well as with people, she should be adopted with one of her siblings for a companion, or go to a home with another, friendly cat waiting to meet her!

Lorelai is spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and current on vaccines. If you’d like to schedule a play-date with her, contact Tara at catsbkny@gmail.com!

Thank you for thinking of animals in need - your support allows us to help the next furry sweetheart!

All Brooklyn Animal Action dogs and cats are available to foster or adopt.

About Brooklyn Animal Action

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
