Booth is a warm, friendly, and playful puppy. He has great temperament, with a jolly nature. He behaves well around people and is gentle with young children. He gets along with dogs and stays calm around cats. He is eager to please, and was able to master basic commands and house rules in a short time. He’s a little shy when introduced to strangers but loves to be around people. At his foster home, he wins everyone’s heart! Please watch Booth’s videos to get to know this sweet boy better.

About Booth’s rescue:
One day when the rescuer rode bike passing by a gravesite on the country road, she sighted two puppies. Followed them into the deep grass, there were five more puppies hiding. She started to bring them food from time to time.
When the time comes to neuter them, she found out that one puppy had been poisoned to death, and another one had deep cuts on the belly. The rescuer had the whole litter fixed. Their ears were cut as a TNR (trap/neuter/return) mark before returning them to the field. However, considering the place was no longer safe for these young puppies to grow up, the rescuer decided to take them off the wilderness and placed them with foster families. Booth is one of the puppies.

Booth is doing very well at his foster home. He has had a complete physical. Booth is ready for his forever home. Will you open your arms and welcome this sweet boy to become a member of your family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Booth, a San Mateo Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in San Mateo, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in San Mateo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Mateo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Mateo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Mateo paves the way for another one to be saved.
