Facts about Hermione Granger

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10826826
  • Hair: Short

Hermione Granger is one of 5 kittens rescued from a garden in Horn Lake. These kittens were born in July of 2016, and rescued from aggressive male strays when they were around 5 weeks old. They show no signs of their wild beginnings, and are happy, healthy kitties that absolutely love people. Hermione is a wonderful combination of swirl tabby & tortoiseshell, which makes her look like a jaguar or leopard in places. Hermione is starting to develop some of that tortie aloofness, and doesn't always want to cuddle. She does love to see you and will great you and talk to you, and she likes to follow you around to see what you are doing. She will definitely love you and seek you out for attention, but she will not be a clingy cat that gets all over your desk or in your way.

We ask for a $75 adoption fee that helps pay for the vetting of other needy cats and kittens, all of which come up to date on their vaccinations, are FIV and FeLV negative and are spayed or neutered.
If you would like more information about this cat, please call 6 62-342-9448, email us at info@desotopetlovers.org or  submit a pre-adoption application here:  http://www.freewebs.com/desotopetlovers/catadoptio napplication.htm and someone will contact you as soon as  possible. Thank you

About Desoto Animal Rescue Society

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of unwanted, abandoned, and abused pets, giving them a second chance at a loving forever home. All animals taken in receive necessary medical care, vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

We are not a shelter with a facility where you can visit our pets. All rescued pets live in our own homes, where they are evaluated and cared for until they find their ideal adoptive family. We carefully screen prospective homes and require all applicants to go through an adoption application process.

We are not affiliated with the Desoto County Animal Shelter or any governmental agency. We do not receive any taxpayer funds. We operate solely on donations and the revenue we generate from fundraising events. 100% of our incoming funds go directly towards the care of our animals and to pay our vet bills. All other expenses are paid for by our own volunteers.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

We've made it very easy for you to donate one time, set up a recurring payment/sponsorship or do a tribute for someone. Everything is on our website here: info@desotoanimalrescue.org

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please see our website for the locations and times of our Adoption Events. We occasionally have special events which we're unable to post on all sites.

Our Adoption Process...

All pets are up-to-date on routine vaccinations and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. All dogs are tested heartworm negative and all cats are tested feline aids/feline leukemia negative. We require a pre-adoption application and a home visit. To help cover our veterinary costs, we ask for a $125 adoption donation for dogs and puppies and a $75 adoption donation for cats and kittens.
