Ducky is a young adult male Lab mix who is hoping to find a good home with time to train, explore, walk and run, and adventure together with someone. He's a very smart dog who is outgoing and friendly. He loves kids, is great with other dogs. Ducky is house trained, crate trained, knows some basic commands. Ducky REALLY likes other dogs, and is a little pushy when meeting them... he's quite sure every dog he meets loves him when in fact they'd prefer to meet him first. He rooms with a cat he does well with, although he will sometimes harass him to play. He especially likes off leash hikes, has a good recall, and is very responsive to positive reinforcement, even more than treats. Ducky is used to sharing the bed with his human at night, which is only fair after a day in the crate, right? He does require a higher quality dog food to maintain his nice skin and coat, right now he eats Wellness Core available at PetSmart. This dog has a lot to offer and is asking for a family with time to give him. He has a hard time with big changes so will be tough the first week or two learning a new house training routine, needing a lot of extra exercise, and someone with patience to help him adjust-- he's so worth it.
