Sophie's Story...
Sophie is just the happiest, sweetest girl. She is barely 1 year old and is already spayed. Sophie loves to learn and mostly just enjoys being near you. She has done great with other dogs! Sophie can be nervous around strangers but once she is comfortable, she is the most loving girl. She is so smart! She knows how to sit, lay down, come, speak, and turn left and right! She is very treat motivated, too! Children in the home should be about 10 and up, as Sophie loves to play. If you are wanting to add a dog to your home that is a snugglebug, Sophie is the girl for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Michigan City American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
