Walter's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Walter's Story...
Walter is a neutered beagle/shepherd mix who is about 1-2 years old. He does good with some other dogs. Depending on the dog in the home, it may be great for him to have a playmate! Walter may take a couple of minutes to become comfortable around strangers, but once he is settled in he is a complete love! Walter has done great with children about 6 and older. Unfortunately, Walter is heartworm positive but we will help his adopters with his treatment. He is a medium sized boy and is probably only 35 pounds or so! Walter knows how to sit and walks very politely on a leash! He would love to sit next you on your couch and snuggle! Come meet him! He's too cute!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Walter, a Michigan City Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
