Lexa's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Lexa's Story...
Lexa is a 7 month old mixed breed that resembles a pocket size bulldog (if such a thing existed) and she weighs in at a perfectly petite 20 lbs. She is uniquely beautiful & we are totally in love with her!

Lexa came to us horribly neglected with a skin condition so horrific we could not even begin to guess her breed, BUT in just 3 short weeks under the care of her foster family & veterinarian, she looks and feels like a brand new dog!

She would love to find a home that will love & adore her forever & ever! Lexa plays great with other dogs & gets along with cats too. She is mostly house trained (has an occasional accident if her cues are missed) and crate trained. Obedience-wise she knows sit, shake, drop, get in your bed, and no.

She is still a timid with new situations, she is full of energy after she comes out of her shell. She loves her naps & thrives on positive attention. She does well at the dog park but can get a little iffy around larger dogs. She seems to prefer women right off the bat, but she does warm up to kindhearted gentleman too.

Adoption Fee: $150 which includes vaccinations, rabies, deworming, current heartworm & flea prevention, & spay/neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexa, a Clarksville French Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a French Bulldog for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a French Bulldog dog from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even French Bulldog breeders who help with French Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
