My name is Twiggy and I am a smaller lab mix. They say I am about 1.5 years old and think I may be a Lab/Border Collie mix. I was found on the streets of South Texas just wandering around sick, skinny and had no fur due to that nasty mange that some of us neglected homeless dogs get and was taken to that small outside high kill animal shelter. I was a lucky girl when this kind-hearted lady rescued me and took me in. She happens to be a foster mom for Allie's Haven Animal Rescue so of course they could not resist my sweet face and now here I am. I feel pretty sure I hit the jackpot and know I will find the perfect home.
My beauty is enhanced because I have white markings in all of the right places. Its that beautiful Border Collie and Lab mix that snazzes up my looks. Haha! I am a shy but amazingly sweet girl. I love to be carried around just like a human baby. I know but I am a serious snuggler. I am good with other dogs and think cats may be ok. I am good with older children as if I get to playing I could easily knock over a toddler. OOPS! I walk pretty good on leash and don't have any behavior problems. My crate is my safe place and love to go in all by myself and sleep. Please consider me as your best lifelong friend. My adoption fee covers all of my vetting and a microchip.
