Avery's Story...
AVERY is an adorable Corgi/Doxi mix with tons of personality and super expressive ears. He is 3 years old, 37 pounds. Neutered and up to date on shots. He loves all people -- met a baby the other day and just wanted to give him kisses. He is great with other dogs and is uninterested in cats. His foster says he is a real cuddle bug. He is OK in a crate but doesn't need one as he is house broken AND he walks well on leash. The best part about him is the greeting he gives when his fosters come back home. They say he does such a happy dance and circles around and around. AVERY will really fit into any home or family situation, but would be best in a home where he gets a lot of attention as that does make him so happy. Please contact Patti at psquare828@comcast.net for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Avery, a Media Corgi/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Dachshund for sale in Media, or seeking a Corgi/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Media.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Media already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Media breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Dachshund breeders who help with Corgi/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Media paves the way for another one to be saved.
