Atticus is a very friendly boy. He's very nervous at first and I believe he had been abused by the way he responds. He calms down quick and even lays his face into you. He's a sucker for yummy treats. He even knows how to sit on command. 1-2 yrs old, 47 lbs, heartworm positive
Act quickly to adopt Atticus. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.
Darlington County Humane Society is dedicated to helping homeless and forgotten pets find new loving homes! The shelter takes in thousands of homeless pets a year, and tries to find homes for them before their euthanasia dates. Due to the high volume of intakes, small shelter, and lack of funds the Darlington County Shelter is forced to be a kill shelter. We try our best to adopt out as many fur-babies as we can to avoid this! We continue to work on educating the community, and saving the the homeless animals of our county!
