Mattie is the sweetest cat, 4 years old and spayed. Her person became unable to care for her and no family. Mattie loves everybody, is not a bit shy and would love to meet you. She also gets along well with other cats. She is mostly white wearing her black cap - such a cute, sweet girl!

About Our Shelter...
Our facility was opened in 1978. We have 7 employees. We try to provide a pretty good life for our shelter animals while always trying to get them adopted into new loving homes. We try to go to PetSmart in Springfield as many Saturdays as possible. We also try to take advantage of as many remote adoption events as possible. We receive no funding from any city, state or government agencies. We survive through donations, fundraisers and our Thrift Shop (resale store) located in downtown Reeds Spring, MO. We also have a Guardian Angel Program. Guardian Angels can provide care for a specific animal for $25 per month. They receive a picture of animal, bio and periodic updates about their adopted pet. We have a spay/neuter fund and take donations for that. All of our pets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
