We strive to place each of our foster pets into the most appropriate home possible. Since we are a network of foster homes, we get to know each of the animals and know what home would work best for the pet.

This kitty would make a great Companion Pet. She purrs all the time, follows her foster mom all around the house and loves to know whats going on. Yet, she doesn't like to be held or sit in your lap. If company comes, she goes to her condo scratching post and stays. She is not anoying and walking all over people.  She only likes her dry food and so far won't eat treats. She is very low maintenance but a truly great companion. I raised her from a baby, she was adopted once and had a very upsetting experience with a dog so she came back to me. Now after months of love and care I believe she would be great in a home where someone is home most of the time and there are no children or dogs. She does like my two adults but they won't play with her. If you think your home is the right one, please contact me at SPOT. We'd love to do a meet and greet.  Her fur has a mahogany glow to the black. Very striking. There is the tiniest spot of white on chest and belly.   She is current on all shots including rabies.

$100...all kittens are tested for FeLV/FIV, age appropriate vaccinations for FVRCP and FeLV, Spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites, microchipped including registration, post adoption exam at participating local vet clinics, and tag, and a 7-day in home trial to make sure it's a good fit for your family.

About Saving Pets One at a Time

About Our Rescue Group...

S.P.O.T. - Saving Pets One at a Time
The mission of our all-volunteer organization is to provide the Skagit Valley and the surrounding areas an alternative method of caring for and adopting out companion animals. We strive to provide an alternative adoption option without the fear of euthanizing healthy and adoptable pets.
Each pet receives daily one-on-one care and attention while in foster care. We work on training and socialization skills to help each pet be the best they can be. Pets do not leave foster care until we feel they are emotionally and physically ready to be placed into a permanent home.
