ABOUT ME:

Millie is a very loyal female shepherd mix. She is a typical 2-year-old and loves being active and going on walks. After a busy day, she likes snuggling on the couch with her people. She's a quiet dog and is fully kennel trained and potty trained! Plus, she knows lots of great tricks like sit, shake, down, kennel up, kiss, heal, leave it, and stay! When she's not playing, she loves to cuddle and give her people lots of kisses.

As much as Millie loves her people, she can sometimes be unsure in new situations. She has made great progress with her foster and is starting to really enjoy meeting new people.

Millie's ideal adoptive home will be one that can work with her on her shyness, as well as other training. She loves to learn! She is a young, energetic dog and will dog best in an active home (with a tall fence, she's very athletic!). Millie would do well as an only child, but would also be fine with another large, male dog and older, respectful kids. Are you the home she is searching for?

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!!! Twin Cities Pet Rescue is a volunteer-run, foster home-based organization. We can only rescue as many animals as available foster homes. Please consider saving the life of an animal in need and become a volunteer foster home today. To become a foster, fill out a dog or cat foster application on the Twin Cities Pet Rescue website:www.twincitiespetrescue.org. There is little to no cost to foster an animal. Twin Cities Pet Rescue provides its foster families with food, supplies, and veterinary care for its animals. All you need to do is supply the love!

PLEASE NOTE: Twin Cities Pet Rescue does not adopt to homes further than 60 miles from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area.

About Twin Cities Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.

Our Adoption Process...

All adopters complete an adoption application. If approved, we arrange a meet and greet. Cats and small animals can be adopted and go home at the time of the meet and greet after the adoption agreement is complete and adoption fee collected (which is variable based on animal type, etc). For dogs, we complete home visits and then finalize the adoption.
