Molly's Story...
Molly is an American Pit Bull with the sweetest personality you'll ever find. She's only 3 yrs. old, weighs approx. 35 pounds and has a smooth grey and white coat. She's super friendly and loves to go on walks. She is a loyal girl who would make a wonderful companion to anyone. She desperately wants to find a home of her own where she can spend all her time loving someone and giving them all her attention. This beautiful girl will be overlooked because of her breed but we hope you will come and meet her so you can see for yourself she is actually one of the sweetest dogs ever.

To see Molly, submit an adoption application at http://hsfc.org/adoptions/applications/online/. Staff will contact you—typically within two business days—for a phone interview and to schedule an appointment to visit the Farm in Centreville where our dogs and horses are kept.

Our dogs and horses are NOT at the HSFC shelter at 4057 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, VA--only our cats, birds, rabbits, and small mammals can be visited there. Come by and see us!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Fairfax Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fairfax, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fairfax.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairfax already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairfax breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairfax paves the way for another one to be saved.
