Blind Dog Rescue will transport within reasonable distance. This happy and healthy puppy is being fostered in Georgia. Ophelia is both deaf and blind, but does not let that stop her! She is a happy, healthy puppy that has never known differently. She is very in tune with people, and is learning all of the regular puppy manners in her foster home.

Information:

Ophelia is deaf and blind and the sweetest pup!
She loves to be held and wants to be with her person,
and will search for them.
Like all puppies, she is making progress on walking with a leash and housebreaking. Ophelia loves toys and the outdoors.
She will occasionally grab your pant legs when walking. We are working with this,
but I feel a home without young children would be best for her.
Ophelia loves to run and play and will be a big girl who needs to be kept safe,
so I would love to see her forever home have a fence.
She can never be off a leash outside of a fenced area.
11/23/16 Ophelia is new to rescue so please check back for more wonderful updates.
Blind Dog Rescue Alliance has voted against the use of electric fencing effective immediately.

About Blind Dog Rescue Alliance - TN

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of volunteers spread throughout the United States (and even a couple in Canada) who are dedicated to advocating for blind and visually impaired dogs by rescuing dogs in shelters, helping blind dog owners, and educating the public. We formed in 2009, though our members have many years of experience in rescue, and in blind dogs.

We are always looking for volunteers; let us know if you want to help out! Volunteer@BlindDogRescue.com

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit group, and all donations are tax deductible.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested in adopting a BDRA Dog? Simply fill out our application.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick preventive.

We ask a $300 adoption fee. This does not begin to cover the vetwork we do on our dogs, which is why
we are always fundraising!

The Board of Directors has voted to prohibit the use of Invisible/Electronic fences on Blind Dog Rescue Alliance dogs. This policy will be effective immediately.

Please email info@blinddogrescue.com with any questions.
