Indoor or highly monitored potty area (paper trained)
ABOUT: Squirt and Stripe came to us with their siblings when they were just 8 days old. They were very small and weak and we weren't sure any of them would pull through. At just a couple months old they were diagnosed with Mega Esophagus. Squirt is very shy and very very small. Stripe had a PDA of 6/6 and required open heart surgery as a baby which he received a clean bill of health after the surgery. Because of the Mega E, Squirt and Stripe are on a specific diet of small food twice a day. Anything they put in their mouth can cause them to choke and suffocate. They will need careful monitoring of their living environment most likely for the rest of their lives and therefore can only be placed in a home that will be able to accommodate their special needs. An excellent Vet reference will be required and knowledge or experience with the disorder would be preferred.
