We’ve had Lexie for a few days now and what a total love she is. She’s very intelligent and figures stuff out on her own, you will have to be smarter than she is! Indeed it’s hard to get her to come in the house but that’s something a dog trainer can teach you how to correct. Meanwhile we’ve been leash walking her and she’s been out loose in our back yard (half acre) and we were able to get her to follow us up on the deck and then leash her up and take her back in the house. It seems like she has been physically abused by men as she’s a bit hesitant of them but she warmed up to my husband very fast by means of leash walking, small treats and lots of loving. Lexie is a big goofy loving wild at heart, snuggly and hypoallergenic fur baby that needs a patient owner that will allow her to blossom and gain her confidence.
Lexie is very energetic and loves the water and she loves to play and run. She knows all basic commands like sit, shake, kiss and lay down. She sleeps like a human being up on the bed with her head on a pillow :-) She will be a perfect addition to any home and even though she’s a big girl, she’s very gentle and well mannered in the house.
Lexie’s adoption fee is $600. She is fully vetted and also altered.
