Snape's Story...
Snape is a young, solid black, domestic short hair kitten. Snape and his 7 siblings were enrolled into our adoption program by their rescuer, who took in a very pregnant stray kitty! She didn’t know what to do when her new cat had 8 kittens! Luckily, we were able to help! Snape is the adventurous one of the bunch. He is very curious. Snape spends his time climbing anything and everything. Although Snape is independent, he loves his siblings. He would run and play all day if he could, but eventually he will settle down and nap with the others. Snape also loves to jump, and he never misses out on an opportunity to pounce! If you’re searching for a playful, little daredevil, Snape is just the guy for you! Snape would be happiest in a home without dogs, but he gets along well with other cats. If you’re interested in adopting Snape, please fill out an adoption application today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snape, a Baytown Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Baytown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Baytown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baytown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baytown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baytown paves the way for another one to be saved.
