Hey there, I’m Charlie. I’m a 6 year old, 80 lb German Short Hair Pointer. I’m looking for a new family that I can grow old with. When I was little it was just me and my humans out in the woods, but things changed. They got another dog and I was ok with that, but then they brought home this tiny human. That is where I draw the line. I don’t like those tiny humans. I’m not fond of littles in general; cats, small dogs, anything. I like big dogs, but mostly girls. If there’s another male dog around I make he sure to show them my boundaries. I’m a pretty simple guy. I enjoy naps so I spend some time on my own, but if you want to get me going you can throw my stick. I can play fetch for hours! I prefer that to the leash walking, but I can do that too if you throw my stick a little bit first so I’m calm. I also really like a good snuggle session. I’m a good cuddler if you want to share your bed with me! I do have something called Addison’s disease so I’ll need medicine for the rest of my life, but it’s under control and doesn’t bother me. Right now I only need a short every other month. I have my vet records that come with me so my new Dr. will have my history but it’s been pretty mild so far. They even tested me again just to be sure. I think it would be best for my new family to have a fenced yard for me to run in. My adoption fee is $150. About Must Love Dogs NW

About Our Rescue Group...

Since 2008, Must Love Dogs NW has been deeply committed to ending pet homelessness in our community. We strive to educate the public on responsible dog ownership, behavior modification, and training assistance. We work to rehome dogs that are abused, neglected, homeless or about to be homeless and those in shelter settings. We provide spay/neuter and microchip assistance to animals in need. Through our volunteer foster network we are able to provide a loving home environment where we can get to know our dogs well and fully assess their needs. Must Love Dogs NW is a not-for-profit organization that relies 100% on the generosity of the community. Help us make a difference today.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process aims to match adoptable dogs with the best possible home to meet both the needs of the dog and the adopter. Therefore, we are not a first-come-first-serve rescue. All of our foster dogs are temperament tested, spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Adoption fees vary, based on the age, breed and temperament of the pet.
