Meet Stella!

Irresistible with one ear up and one ear down! She is a 1 year old beautiful tan and white Terrier Mix (DNA pending) with long legs and a medium/short, unique wavy coat and tail. Stella is a low/medium energy girl with an amazing sweet personality. She is friendly with all people and happily makes new friends – human and canine. We knew she was a fast learner when she spent just half day to learn her new name.

When Stella goes out for a walk she has a graceful prance that resembles the famous regal Lipizzan horse.

Indeed, you will not get enough of watching her run, because it is more like hopping, like a bunny. Moreover, she is quiet and a wonderful indoor companion. Our 3R Volunteers say she is the right because she fits perfectly on their lap while they work at the computer. She is also content to stay on her bed, or amuse herself by playing with her toys.

She gets along with other dogs, big or small and she does not mind sharing the human love and attention. Stella is house-trained and rides good in the car making her a great traveling companion.

Like most dogs at 3R Rescue, Stella is attending dog school every week. She is learning all her basic commands very quickly because he is eager to please.

Stella is spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on all shots. For more information go to www.3rrescue.org, email 3rrescue@gmail.com or phone 707-529-4643.

About 3R Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We rescue dogs from rural and under-sourced shelters that do not have adequate medical support, staff or facilities and few potential adopters coming to the shelter. Euthanasia rates at these shelters are extremely high (80% or higher) Many of our dogs come directly off the euthanasia list.
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in need of a second chance. They are provided medical care, quality nutrition and the opportunity to de-stress and socialize in a home environment until they are ready to go to their new family. WE have animal behaviorists who assess each dog and recommend appropriate care and training. Many of our dogs are started in basic obedience training while they are with us.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs ate available by appointment at the 3R facility, foster homes and other locations by appointment. Please see our website calendar for the list of locations where we have adoption events.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption application. Once the application is reviewed and references are checked we schedule a 'meet and greet' with the potential adopter and the dog. We require that all immediate family members and their pets (mainly dogs) are brought to meet the dog. A home inspection is also conducted. We work closely with the new adopter after the adoption to help and advise during the first critical days/weeks in the new home.
