Verity's Story...
Verity is versatile and adorable.

The Verity after which this little kitten was named is described as a plain girl with fluffy hair. Our Verity is definitely NOT plain but she does have fluffy hair. She is cute as a button with her black and white fur and light brown eyes. She has been the runt but is eating like mad trying to catch up with her sister. Verity is one of those kittens that you love to watch while they are eating. Munch, munch……little kitty munch sounds, one of the most enjoyable sounds in the world. Verity loves to explore, play tag and hide ‘n seek with her sister and generally have fun. Her other favorite thing is to lie in your lap and get a long tummy rub while she tries to keep her sleepy eyes open. Verity would bring pure joy into your home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Verity, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
