Meet OTIS. He is a 5 month old Beagle/Hound mix. He is very shy around people but has started to come around since being rescued from the shelter and even enjoys playing with his other rescue friends. Otis has been neutered, micro chipped, is heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines. He is crate trained and has been doing great with house training. Are you the perfect home for Otis? Applications can be submitted at www.RichmondRuffHouse.org/adopt.html

About Richmond Ruff House

About Our Rescue Group...

Richmond Ruff House is a non profit, no-kill dog rescue dedicated to improving the lives of unwanted and abandoned dogs. Our volunteers are dedicated to providing these dogs a safe home, food, medical care, training and love...everything a dog needs to become a happy member of their new family.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Pets are available on an appointment only basis or at monthly adoption events at locations as indicated.

Our Adoption Process...

Each applicant will complete an Adoption Application (located at www.RichmondRuffHouse.org/adopt.html) and submit to the rescue for review and approval and to schedule a one-on-one consultation. Once the initial application is reviewed & approved for processing, a home inspection may be required. An adoption fee of $185 is charged to support our rescue efforts.

All dogs are spayed or neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, treated for fleas, and if old enough, tested for heartworms and given their initial dose(s) of heartworm preventatives.
