Mindy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mindy's Story...
This is Mindy, a 10 week old (as of Nov 26) domestic shorthair kitten. She was found outside in the cold and rain, too young to be on her own. She needed to be bottle fed. She was born with missing toes on her front feet. It doesn't slow her down at all. She plays just as much as her siblings. She is a cuddle bug and loves to be held and cuddled. She is good with kids, dogs, and other cats.

Mindy is spayed, negative for FIV/FelV (Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS), up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, treated with dewormer and flea/ear mite preventative. Her adoption fee is $115.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mindy, a Flushing Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
