Our rescue will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express Saturday, December 3rd from 1-4pm and Sunday, December 4th from 12-3pm. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated and microchipped.

* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. * We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. * We do not ship our dogs for any reason. * Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy. * If it is on a weekend of our adoptions, follow us on @DPSRescue on Twitter to get real time updates on our adoptions. We will also post at the end of the evening the names of those dogs who have been adopted: www.facebook.com/DPSRescue

This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, December 3rd from 1-4pm and Sunday, December 4th from 12-3pm or until adopted. However, we do meet with those who submit an application and are approved just prior to the event (by invitation only) and they are given the first opportunity to adopt. If you are interested in one of our dogs, we recommend filling out an application prior to the event to be considered. Applications submitted within 24 hours of the event may not necessarily be reviewed.

Mrs. Claus had her 3 puppies on Sept. 8th. Mrs. Claus was a Tibetan Spaniel mix. We have no idea who the father was as she came in very pregnant and was found wandering the streets by a wonderful rescue friend. Mom was about 15lbs. We expect the puppies will be in the same range when full grown but we don't know for sure because we don't have any idea who Dad was...but the puppies are tiny now even at 11 weeks old...

The puppies were whelped and have been cared for in a family that has dogs, cats and kids. They're super friendly and loving. They are really sweet and will make wonderful companions for a family or home that is open to a small to medium size dog. The puppies love to play with toys but their favorite toy is the empty water bottles they are given every day!

We will only consider a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are children we will consider those who have kids over the age of 8.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
