* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. * We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. * We do not ship our dogs for any reason. * Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy. * If it is on a weekend of our adoptions, follow us on @DPSRescue on Twitter to get real time updates on our adoptions. We will also post at the end of the evening the names of those dogs who have been adopted: www.facebook.com/DPSRescue

This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, December 3rd from 1-4pm and Sunday, December 4th from 12-3pm or until adopted. However, we do meet with those who submit an application and are approved just prior to the event (by invitation only) and they are given the first opportunity to adopt. If you are interested in one of our dogs, we recommend filling out an application prior to the event to be considered. Applications submitted within 24 hours of the event may not necessarily be reviewed.

Bunny is a 9 month old Yorkie-Papillon mix whose ears are bigger than the rest of her. She weighs 7.2lbs. She is a tiny little girl who needs a calm, gentle home. She is a little on the insecure side so she needs someone who will help build up her confidence. She will initially shy away but she really wants to climb into your lap. She's a total lap dog. She's a quiet girl who will hang out with you, stay with you, never make a peep kind of gal. She is not a barker. She is an option for living in an apartment or condo setting.

Bunny gets along well with other dogs. She currently lives with big and little dogs. Of course when you weigh less than a sack of sugar almost everyone is bigger than you, including the cat! Bunny could go to the dog park or to doggy day camp as long as she wouldn't be overrun by big dogs. Bunny is a dog who could go to work with Mom or Dad. She could also hang out in their office or under the desk of their cubicle.

Bunny is a dog who will require a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are children they need to be over the age of 10.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.

About Doggie Protective Services (DPS) - Palo Alto

About Our Rescue Group...

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
