Jack's Story...
Hi, my name is JACK and I am a 1 year old SMALL male feline. My coloring is all BLACK with a little patch of white on my chest. I am thankful for Posh Pets because they saved my friend Angie and me from a terrible hoarder situation. Here are some facts about me: My situation has made me cautious, but I’ve made great strives and I am learning to trust humans. I like ATTENTION and AFFECTION and I will ROLL around and RUB against the person who gives it to me. I am a CURIOUS guy and I love to EXPLORE my surroundings. I get along GREAT with other CATS and I like their COMPANIONSHIP. That being said, I would really thrive in a home with another cat. So if you’re looking for a VERY NICE CAT and have a bit of patience, come meet me and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Plus, BLACK CATS BRING GOOD LUCK! I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
