Meet June! This sweetheart is 3-months-old and as cuddly as can be. She is tiny but she is incredibly playful! She and her brother had snuck into somebody’s house and set up camp there for a few weeks until HART came and rescued them. Since then, June has become great with all other animals and people. This purr-machine will be a perfect addition to any family, submit an application today!

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

June, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
