Dezi's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Dezi's Story...
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Dezi.

Dezi is just a pup at about 9 months old and weighs around 50 lbs. He was dumped with his sister on a back road when they were small. The finder took them in and tried to find homes for them. A rescue quickly snatched up Dezi's sister, but poor Dezi was left behind.

Dezi is very playful. He loves attention and is great with kids. He knows the sit, lay down, and shake hands command. He is still in his puppy stage and likes to chew, so a big bone or other toys make him happy. Don't let his bark fool you! It's deep but he only uses it to warn you if someone is at the door or if a squirrel trespasses in his yard.

He gets along with other dogs and loves to play with them in the yard. Dezi hasn't been around cats yet, so we don't know how he would do with them. Won't you adopt Dezi today and help him start his very own happily ever after?

Dezi is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and housebroken.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dezi, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
