My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTED!
*MABEL*
#493-16
Female Pit Mix Breed
Date in: 11/17/16

Hey guys! Mabel here! I may be a little pocket pit, but don't let my size fool you!! I've got plenty of strength and spunk to match anyone bigger than me! I love, love, love life and I love being out of my kennel! In my absolute perfect world, I would be able to run and play each and every day until I was completely exhausted! I can be a puller on leash sometimes and if you stop to talk, I just may jump up to tell you that I have more important things to do! But hey, if you only got to see daylight once a day, you would be on a mission too! If you are looking for a girl with some "flavor" for life, I think you may want to come to the Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center for a visit!

Available for adoption at:
Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center
1500 Newark Rd., Zanesville, Ohio 43701

740-453-0273
Please call ahead if you plan to visit.
Open M-F 11-5 and Saturday 11-1.

Adoption fee is $105 which includes spay/neuter, combo and rabies shots, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test and dog tags. (Although some of the dogs come to the pound spayed or neutered, most do not. If you adopt a dog that has not yet been spayed/neutered, we will set up an appointment for the dog to be spayed/neutered before it can leave the facility.)
