Up for adoption: Ellie. She can be adopted in Texas and New England.

Ellie was saved by Lucky Lab Rescue when she was dumped with her very young puppies at a high kill shelter in Texas. Now her puppies have been adopted and Ellie has been spayed and vetted and she is looking for the most wonderful forever home. She was a wonderful, loving mamma and could be an amazing addition to your home for the holidays!

This is Ellie AKA MomDog. Do you need a couch companion, second shadow, or the sweetest watchdog on your block? This 4-5 year old lady has a very maternal disposition and loves to watch her people with adoration though she will probably do better in a house with older children or no children. Incredibly playful with other dogs after a chance to get to know them."

Ellie excels at fetch with both sticks and tennis balls and can gnaw squeakies like a pro. She can play like the best but she's always available for lazy, sleepy snuggles as well. At 75 pounds, this fit former mama definitely loves dinner and is highly treat motivated which is great for teaching new things! She's spayed, vaccinated, and knows basic commands like "sit" "stay" and "go to your room".

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and housebroken.
