Bailey's Story...
What's Christmas without a gift huh? So here's me... with something special for you. My biggest and brightest smile is patiently waiting for you!

Hi, I'm Bailey, a 1-2 year old girl who is heart worm positive. I am one of many dogs that was rescued from a hoarding case.

My start to life hasn't been great but I'm optimistic that my family is out there waiting for me. The sweet volunteer at the shelter has really helped me to gain confidence and come out of my shell. I have blossomed into a very happy girl who loves belly rubs! I am friendly and love playing with other dogs in the yard. I am loyal and really like being with my person. Did I mention I like belly rubs? Let's get together and see who rescues who. Apply to adopt or rescue me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Bishopville Australian Shepherd/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Rat Terrier for sale in Bishopville, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Bishopville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bishopville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bishopville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bishopville paves the way for another one to be saved.
