I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Rusty is a gorgeous orange boy. He is long haired and fluffy and amazingly soft. He is maybe a year or 2 old. Rusty is a sweet gentle soul. He so wants to be loved and given kindness and he will give that in return. He will be just fine with another nice cat. In fact he might prefer to have a sweet cat friend. He does not seem to do well with exuberant dogs or feisty children. He hopes for kindness and gentle love. A quiet home would be best for him where he can come out and show what an affectionate sweet boy he is. When he is bonded with his new family, he would like a safe place to go outside in warm weather.
Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes. In 2013, we rescued and rehomed approximately 420 cats.

Come Meet Our Pets...
We have weekly adoptions fairs in Anchorage each Saturday and in Wasilla at the Wasilla Petzoo either Saturday or Sunday. Our cats are also available for adoption from their foster homes.
Our Adoption Process...
We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $60 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 6 months are $100. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 4 or 5 months are not fixed, but the adopter must sign an agreement to spay/neuter the kitten by the age of 6 months.
