Miss Cocoa's Story...
Meet the prettiest senior at rescue. Miss Cocoa is a gorgeous chocolate Labrador Retriever. We are told she is approximately 14-15 yrs old. We'll have a better idea once she visits our vet. She's as sweet as they come and is wonderful with children, other dogs of all sizes, cats, and even the pet pigs. She deserves a forever home to be cuddled and loved in. Miss Cocoa adores her toy and carries it around as she explores. She seems to be hard of hearing but does listen when able. This lovely lady will complete the luckiest of families. If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. *Adoption fee waived to forever home*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Cocoa, a Minot Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Minot, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Minot.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minot already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minot breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minot paves the way for another one to be saved.
