This little boy found himself alone, cold, and hungry in the back yard of a Sheboygan residence in early summer. No one knows what happened to his mother or siblings. Atticus was crying loudly and that alerted the homeowner who knew she just had to do something to help. She called My Feral Fix, and with their help Atticus was trapped and delivered to a PFM foster home.
He was sick and starved, and small for his age of 6 weeks. With proper veterinary care, lots of nutritious food, and a warm place to rest, Atticus returned to health and is now a very handsome and proud young cat.
Atticus is smart, playful and affectionate, and very calm for a young male cat. He takes things in stride and is very trusting of humans, which is amazing since he wasn't handled by humans at all until he was nearly 7 weeks old.
He loves being with other cats and plays nicely with the adults. He can get a bit zealous during play with smaller kitties but they're learning how to handle him! Atticus is just one of the kittens rescued during 2016 and we all agree that we're so glad he found his way to PFM!
