Jewels's Story...
This beautiful girl is Jewels and she is looking for a responsible, loving and permanent home. Jewels is a shy dog that will need an adult only home. It has taken her a while to warm up to staff but she is starting to come out of her shell and show us her wonderful personality. Jewels is a high energy dog that needs a very active home. She loves playing with toys, sticks and balls. She really loves having her back scratched. Jewels has allergies to grain and chicken so she will need to be on a high quality diet. Jewels has lived with a cat before and did just fine. She also lived with another dog so she would probably be okay living with a canine companion but will have to meet to ensure they are a good match. If you are interested in getting to know Jewels better, please fill out an application at the front desk.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jewels, a Bellingham Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
