Midge is a very pretty, small white with grey markings DSH 1 year old spayed female that is FeLV + (Feline Leukemia Virus). She can be a little shy off the bat, but once she knows you she is friendly, sweet, enjoys attention and to play. She is sad because her brother, Marley passed away from Lymphoma. Luckily she is doing well with her current roommate, Serena and would love to be adopted with her or her other roommate KJ (DSH black), both are also FeLV positive. Please consider her and her friends so they don't live out their lives in their small room at the shelter. There is a discount for adopting more than one. She was rescued from being put down at another shelter after fending for themselves on the streets, and transferred to us. FeLV positive cats can live long, relatively healthy lives in a calm environment with good care. Many even go into remission. She needs to be with other FeLV + cats or be the only cat. She needs a safe, in door only, low-stress home. She should only be around cat friendly children who will play gently with her and won’t stress her out. We don't know about dogs, but perhaps a calm, cat-friendly dog might also be O.K. Come meet this sweet and pretty young lady (and friends).
